Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
So, what is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)? Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized massage technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system and encourage the natural movement of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. It’s known for its ability to reduce swelling, support detoxification, and promote overall wellness, but it's especially powerful after surgery.
Unlike traditional massage, this gentle and methodical therapy focuses on stimulating the flow of lymphatic fluid through your body’s lymphatic vessels. The goal? To help your system efficiently clear out waste, toxins, and excess fluid while promoting relaxation, immune support, and deep restoration.
Our certified MLD therapists are trained in post-surgical protocols to safely, gently, and effectively support clients after cosmetic or reconstructive procedures.
Benefits of Post-Op MLD Include:
- Decreased swelling and inflammation
- Prevention of fibrosis and scar tissue buildup
- Reduced discomfort and tightness
- Enhanced mobility and recovery time
- Faster, more visible results
Recommended Timing: We recommend starting MLD within 36–48 hours post-operatively, with three sessions per week for the first two weeks to achieve optimal recovery.
Wellness MLD for General Health
For non-surgical clients, MLD is a relaxing experience that helps:
- Boost immune function
- Reduce hormonal or travel-related bloating
- Relieve fluid retention and puffiness
- Support gentle detoxification
- Supports lymphedema recovery
If you’ve been feeling unusually fatigued, sluggish, or out of balance, MLD can help you reconnect with your body and feel more energized. MLD can be life-changing for a wide variety of people
Here’s What to Expect During Your Session:

In-home sessions are available for post-op clients for an additional fee.
